First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OVS.
Sales Associate
They look at your resume and then ask you about yourself, what you studied, and what you've done, and then they get sidetracked and talk about completely different things. They tell you about the working conditions, the salary, how they manage shifts and days, and have you fill out a lot of forms without any commitment. The whole thing lasts about an hour.
- Do you want to get your license?
- Where do you buy your clothes?
- What are you afraid you won't be able to do?
Sales Associate
- Do you have previous experience in this sector?
- Are you available for shift work or specific location hours?
Sales Associate
At the end of the first interview, I found out the company offers a lower-level contract than mine, which means a demotion! In the second interview with the store manager, they explained what my job would be: folding clothes, restocking, and operating the cash register. They don't even know what assisted sales are, and they think they can sell like that!!! They said they would communicate the outcome, but instead, they disappeared. Only when I called for updates did they bother to tell me they didn't choose me! Unbelievable!!!!!
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What is your previous experience?
- What are the differences between a store located in a historic center versus one in a shopping mall?
