First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OutSystems.
Customer Service Representative
The process started with an initial phone call with HR, followed by some questions via email. Then there was an HR interview that included a company presentation and a high-level background check. The second round involved an interview with the Manager, covering profile and background check, a role-play exercise, and some logic questions. Finally, the third round was with the IT Recruiter and Senior Product Support Engineer, focusing on profile check and motivations to join Outsystems. Throughout the process, the team was engaging and increased my motivation to join Outsystems.
- Can you describe Outsystems briefly?
Customer Service Representative
I found the job on Glassdoor and they got back to me really fast. The whole hiring process was pretty straightforward. First, there was a recruiter call where they asked me to introduce myself and discussed salary, my start date, etc. Then, I had to complete an email assessment. After that, I had another call with the Senior and Customer Service Lead. The last step was a customer service test. Overall, it was a really positive experience, everyone was nice and the conversations felt friendly even though it was professional.
- Could you please introduce yourself?
- How would you approach these 3 IQ or brainteaser questions?
- Imagine you need to role play a specific situation. How would you handle it?
Customer Service Representative
There were 3 interview stages: a phone call with an email assessment, a face-to-face meeting, and a video conference. They were nice throughout. I was late for the video call because I scheduled it wrong, but they let me start even though I was in the car. There were a few hiccups that made me nervous, but they hired me anyway. The experience was exceptional because they focused on strengths. If they asked personal questions, they explained why. The questions were challenging and required thought.
- Let's play a game to make you feel comfortable.
- What is the most difficult troubleshooting you have encountered?
- What are three things your colleagues find disagreeable about you?
