Product Support Engineer
The process is pretty straightforward; they let you know quickly if you aren't qualified. It starts with a phone call, then a Google Meet with HR, followed by a take-home assessment. The final stage is a technical assessment with two interviewers across two parts.
- Can you explain what a load balancer is?
- Describe how you would address lagging issues.
- Could you write a function code?
Support Engineer
We started with an e-mail assessment that included problem-solving and programming. Then, there were two technical interviews with Team and Technical Leaders covering software, hardware, and IT systems, plus optimizing SQL queries; some of these were quite challenging. Following that, an HR interview focused on my background check, curriculum, and motivation. Finally, a Manager conducted a motivational interview covering life achievements, my curriculum, motivation, and problem-solving skills. The interviewers were really helpful and open-minded, aiming to make me feel relaxed and comfortable.
- Could you analyze this error message and identify the error, its cause, and the affected system?
- Can you describe your problem-solving approach?
- How would you approach a programming task?
Support Engineer
The recruiter reviewed my resume to see if my skills matched the role and asked what I knew about the company. Then the hiring manager quizzed me on my theoretical knowledge of the technologies used for the role and then the practical part of the technical interview. The hiring manager's colleague continued the practical part of the technical interview and then tested my soft skills with a mock call to see how I would interact with their clients. Both of their managers continued the practical part of the technical interview. Finally, the offer package came. It was an awesome, very laid-back experience. Everyone was really welcoming. The technical parts were more collaborative than one-sided. Be prepared to explain your answers, and expect follow-up questions.
- Can you explain why you are seeking a new position?
- What is your understanding of OutSystems?
