I went through three interview stages to get the offer. First, I had an interview with one person. Then, I had another interview with one person. For the final round, I did a presentation of a business case I prepared, and then a panel interview with four senior team members. After all that, the first interviewer gave me the offer.

The interview process was pretty simple. First, I had a phone screen with the recruiter, followed by another one with the AE manager. They asked me to schedule a third interview. After sending multiple emails with no response, the recruiter told me two weeks later that they weren't moving forward. It was definitely odd.

I first spoke with Dan Moriarity, who gave me a good understanding of the role and duties. Dan also told me about the culture at Outsystems, which is really important to me. Then I talked to Blair Rundell, which was my first real connection with the Sales team. I think this first sales meeting is super important because it shows me how I can fit in and what the Sales team can expect from me. Over the next week, I chatted with Phil Barthalo and Mike Josephson, who shared their day-to-day, weekly, and monthly routines at Outsystems. I actually traveled to meet Blair in person and really enjoyed it. This meeting sealed my decision to want to work at Outsystems. I spoke with Christian Woodward for the second time, and I told Christian I wanted to join his team and be part of the adventure for the next 4-5 years.
