First, you'll go through document screening. Then, depending on your skills and the role you're applying for, there's a skill-based AI interview where you'll answer questions. If you pass that, you'll be onboarded for project modules.

  • Questions based on your resume and the role, for example, javascript and react if you applied for those.
  • Questions related to your resume and the specific role, which in my case involved javascript and react.

First, there's this online test where you gotta check how an AI did with a prompt. You gotta see if it's right, if it solved the thing, and if it can be made better. It's pretty simple. Then, you hop on a video call with a recruiter to chat about yourself. After that, you answer 5 questions on Google Docs. Two of them are about fixing and improving what a programmer did in a certain situation, and the other three are logic puzzles.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Questions about experience and coding expertise specifically.

Technical Coding

I went through an online Java screening interview with Outlier AI. The test was timed and covered Java basics, data structures, algorithms, multithreading, and OOP. I had to solve some coding problems, including making existing code better and fixing bugs. There were also questions about the JVM, garbage collection, and Spring Boot. It had multiple choice and coding parts. It wasn't too hard, and practicing LeetCode stuff really helped. The process was fine, and the interviewer was good.

Confirmed questions8 questions
  • Could you write a Java program that uses the Executor framework to process data using multiple threads simultaneously, testing your grasp of concurrency, thread handling, and performance tuning?
  • Regarding the coding problems, were you asked to optimize any solutions or debug any existing code snippets?
  • Were there questions about the Java Virtual Machine (JVM)?
