The process was split into three main steps. First, a chat with HR about cultural fit and my academic background. Then, a 'Live Coding' technical challenge, where I had to implement a simple REST API using Spring Boot and handle exceptions. Finally, an interview with the Tech Lead covering Object-Oriented Programming concepts, Dependency Injection, and how I'd design a database for an e-commerce system. The whole process was quick and the interviewers were very clear about what they were looking for.

The interview process was pretty simple. They started by asking about my career background, my reasons for wanting a remote work setup, and my motivation for choosing this specific company. Then, it was just a casual chat about various topics. There was one technical question included.

My interview with Outgive was great. It was super organized and clear all the way through. They were good at scheduling and told me what to expect for each step. The people I talked to were professional and nice, and gave me good info about the company and the job. I liked that they got back to me quickly with updates, made me feel like they cared. Outgive really set a good example for how interviews should be, made me more interested in the job.

First, I applied through their online job board. Then, there was an initial call to talk about myself, my career goals, and to learn about the company's mission and what they look for in team members. This was followed by a second call and a skills-based challenge, which I thought was appropriate for a creative role and wasn't overly difficult. Finally, there was a concluding call, after which I received a job offer. The entire process took about two weeks, and throughout the communications, I had plenty of chances to ask questions, share my thoughts, and connect with people who would be on my team. The last conversation was with my direct team lead and the head of the brand department.
