Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Outfront Media.
Sales
The interview process overall was good. I talked to the sales manager about the job procedures and responsibilities. The process duration could be 8, 12, or 24 weeks. It was tough to find space for an intern because it's a small office with few employees.
- Tell me about your previous experience.
- What value can you add to CBS?
Sales Assistant
The interviewer was super friendly and positive. She was really clear about the job and happily answered all my questions. I especially liked that she was totally honest about the job duties and the work environment, not trying to make it sound better than it is. I got the feeling she's a great manager and that I would have fit in well with the team, but the job itself wasn't really aligned with where I see my career going. Still, I'd definitely suggest this company to anyone looking for a career in ad sales.
- What are your long-term aspirations within this company?
Sales
This took a bit longer than I thought it would. It involves a background check handled by a third-party company. The hiring manager was a bit immature and honestly, kind of weird.
- Can you describe your responsibilities in your past role?
- What qualities do you possess that make you effective in sales?
- What prompted your departure from your previous job?
