Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Outback Steakhouse.
Receptionist
The manager was quite selective and my nervousness as a newcomer didn't help. I'd do another interview again and believe I'd pass. Each Outback has its own pace and way of working, I found it a good company for a first job.
- What do you plan to do when you start working here at the company?
Receptionist
I applied on the Kenoby website, and the next day they called me for an interview. When I got there, I filled out a form, and then each of the candidates had a conversation with the owner, Danilo. He barely looked at me and was super arrogant.
- Tell me about your experience.
- When can you start working?
- Who do you live with?
Receptionist
To join the company, you need to go through several stages. After the screening comes the group activity. From what I could see, the company looks for new candidates, up to 25 years old, as only young girls passed to the next stage, frustrating older people who no longer have opportunities in commerce. Show opportunities in speaking up, taking leadership in the group activity's whiteboard, as only those in front of the groups were selected.
- Why do you want to work at Outback?
