Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Oura.
Manager
The people were great and the overall experience was very positive. However, I was a bit upset because the role was filled internally and I felt like that wasn't clearly communicated to me beforehand, but I guess that's just how it goes sometimes. I'd still recommend them as a company.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- What are your expectations for this role?
- What are your interests?
Solution Manager
I went through 5 interviews total, starting with HR and then going all the way up to C-level. About 4 of them were pretty technical, involving problem-solving exercises and some really specific questions.
- Given a manufactured hardware component, how would you automate its assembly?
- Can you outline a project plan for automating the assembly of this manufactured hardware component?
Senior Manager
Oura's interview process was really great and professional. They kept me in the loop about timelines, what to expect, and what was next. I always knew what was going on. It felt like they really took care of everything with a lot of thought. This attention to detail and communication showed Oura's focus on being excellent and made the whole thing a good experience.
- Tell me about a time you improved a process and it made a big difference in how efficient your team or organization was.
