Patient Financial Counselor
The interview process was very critiqued with easy to answer questions. There were Self questions, a SWOT Situation which asked what happened and how it was solved, strengths, weaknesses, why you chose to work for the company, and what you bring to the company.
- Tell me about a strength you have.
- What is a weakness of yours?
- Why did you choose to work for this company?
Registered Nurse
I applied and got a call from HR the next day for a quick phone chat. They were really helpful, telling me about the unit I wanted and even suggesting others. The day after, the nurse manager called to set up an interview for the next day. First, I met with her and answered some standard questions, then she told me more about the unit. After that, I met the staff for a peer interview. Later that same day, the recruiter called with a job offer. She also gave me details on paperwork and my health screening. The whole experience felt very professional, and everyone was friendly and easy to talk to.
- How would you handle a patient who is too demanding and asks for help with tasks they can do themselves?
Case Manager
So after applying online, I got an instant reply. Just a heads up on the application, there are two voluntary surveys at the end that you actually HAVE to do for them to consider your application, so don't skip them like I did the first time! Two days later, the HR rep called me for a quick chat, and then the Unit Director called me for another short phone interview. After that, they set up an in-office interview with the Manager, which was about 40 minutes. Right after talking to the Manager, I met with three of the current Case Managers for a chill, 15-minute peer interview. I got a phone offer from HR five days later, with a start date a month out, which I accepted. The week before I started, I had to go to employee health for a drug screen and to turn in my immunization and health records. Right after that, I met with HR to sign the paperwork and get my ID photo taken. Then, on Monday, I started orientation with a full day of 'Premier Expressions'. That was the whole process, pretty thorough but good!
- Can you share an instance where you faced a conflict with a coworker and explain how you resolved it?
- Tell me about a time you had a conflict with a doctor and how you managed the situation.
- What do you consider to be your strengths and weaknesses?
Stock Clerk
Applied in December 2014. They called me for a one-on-one interview in February 2015. Then they asked me to come back for a second interview with some peers. They said I'd hear back in about a week, but I never did. So I called them to check, and they told me they had already filled the position. Surprise! A month later, HR called offering me the job. I was confused since they said it was filled, but I took the offer anyway. Just a heads up, you might need a TB skin test if you haven't had one in the last 12 months and you'll need your immunization record. I'm starting in April 2015.
- In your opinion, what qualifications are important for this job?
- What would you do to motivate a team that isn't interested, and what difficulties would you face in doing so?
