At first, I was told no because I wasn't in the Tampa, FL area. Then, they decided to have me interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager didn't turn their camera on during the interview, which I found quite rude. They mostly spoke about themselves. Afterwards, I was rejected again. It was really creepy that they didn't have their camera on – what were they trying to hide? I think I dodged a bullet.

Got contacted by a senior person on LinkedIn. Had a video call with him and a sales manager. It was good, they asked about my past sales experience and knowledge of software sales, and told me about the company culture and the job. That lasted 20 mins. Right after, they set up another video call with a higher-up sales manager. This manager was intense, asked short questions, expected short answers, and cut me off a lot. Then they asked me "summer or winter?" and to sell them on the opposite. I said "summer is liked by everyone, but winter is good for reflecting, re-strategizing, setting the pace for the next year". He cut me off after 15 seconds and said it was the worst answer he ever heard, that I don't understand sales and was rambling. He ended the call, and that was it. I still think about how rude and cruel it was. I'm a top performer, but I guess I didn't fit their old-school 'Salesbro' vibe.

The interview process consists of 3 stages. They will provide a thorough overview of the company, its product, and the specifics of the role. They'll explain what's expected and are looking for candidates who are motivated by earning money. Be prepared for a job that involves constant cold calling throughout the day.
