I went through two interviews with the recruiting team. It was a good experience. My background was very, very similar to what the client was looking for. They were on my side, but the client really wanted someone who met certain requirements that I didn't have, so it didn't work out.

Recruiters from OtterBase have reached out to me multiple times about job openings, but they never followed up. The last time, a recruiter set up a phone interview for the next day. I made sure to be available, but they never showed up or let me know they were canceling. All my interactions with OtterBase have been disappointing, which is too bad because they seem like a strong and respected company.

It was very focused on two things: how well you communicate professionally and your personality/culture fit. They asked really deep, personal questions because they genuinely want to hire the right people. Leaders from different locations were involved, which I think shows how connected the company is.

I was interviewed for a job, and wasn't totally sure if I was into it. But since I just graduated, I figured why not. It was like a 45 minute interview. The head manager there interviewed me first. They asked about my biggest fear, which I said was rejection since I've been applying to so many places and can't get a job. The interviewer seemed cool with it and we talked about my resume, hobbies, and if I'd move to Chicago since they had openings there. Then he brought in the head account manager. I learned about the roles and the hiring process. I was getting really excited at this point because it felt like I might get the job. After that guy finished, the head manager came back to say they'd let me know. I emailed them that day to say thanks. The next day, I got an email saying they were going with other candidates, but the email was kinda bad and had grammar mistakes.
