District Manager
We had a Zoom call that was pretty straightforward. Then a phone call with the regional manager. After that, another follow-up with the regional. The offer came from territory. Onboarding is done online through the portal. Once the offer is signed, HR gets involved to handle all the credentialing and assessments.
- Can you tell us about your leadership style and what makes you who you are?
- How do you go about motivating your team members?
- What strategies do you use to foster a strong culture within your area?
District Manager
So I applied and a recruiter reached out to set up a phone interview. It was more of them explaining the job to me than me answering questions. They asked basic stuff like 'Tell me about your current job' and 'Why do you think you would be a good fit.' At the end of the call, they said the regional director would call me in 1-3 days to set up an in-person interview. The recruiter also told me to let them know if I didn't hear back in 3 days. Well, 4 days passed and nothing. I emailed the recruiter, and then another 5-7 days went by before the recruiter emailed me back to say they were moving on with other candidates. This whole thing felt like a big red flag. You should be careful with companies that don't follow through on what they say during the interview process because it gives you a taste of the work culture.
- In what ways do you believe you'd be a good district manager for our company?
- What are your salary expectations for this position?
District Manager
They are professional and make the candidate feel comfortable to answer well. It takes a week to get a response, either positive or with areas for improvement for next time.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and your management style?
