First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Oshkosh Corporation.
Intern
I interviewed for an Autonomy Intern position. It was a behavioral interview with two engineers from different teams. They asked questions about my resume and some standard behavioral questions.
- Could you tell me about the projects listed on your resume?
- Please describe your past work experience as detailed on your resume.
Intern
My interview process started with a résumé review, then a phone interview, followed by a manager interview, and finally a co-worker interview. The HR rep actually read my résumé before the phone interview. The manager's interview was less about technical skills and more about 'human skills.' The co-worker interview focused on the technical aspects. The main thing for interns to remember is that you're expected to be a learner. Even higher-level contract employees need to get a grasp of the environment. Stay calm, be concise, and don't try to bluff your way into a job.
- No out of the ordinary questions, but the technical ones can go deep. Don't be scared, they just want to see where you fit.
Intern
I was ghosted after the first interview. I reached out to the recruiter and got no response. Other reviews suggest this happens often. It's wild that a company focused on supply chain can't seem to organize its talent acquisition team properly, leading to ghosting.
- Can you tell us about your background?
- Could you answer some behavioral questions?
