First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ORS Partners.
Sales Account Executive
The interview process with ORS Partners was really good. The people I met were professional and nice. I decided not to proceed with the role, but it seemed like they really know how to hire well. The sales interview had two phone parts, a meeting with the direct manager, a group interview with the executives, and a sales role-play. I backed out before the executive group interview because the job wasn't quite right for me. The fact that I'm leaving this review even though I passed on the job shows how great the company and its people are. I'll be looking for other roles there that fit my goals better. I'd recommend this company to anyone looking for a startup vibe with a great culture.

The hiring experience was really great. The recruiter was super professional and kept things open, which was awesome. Everyone I met during the interviews was friendly and nice. Some people were more serious, others more laid-back, so it was a good mix. After the interview, the recruiter got back to me with feedback on my performance and told me about the next steps and where they were in making a decision. It was nice to have that much transparency during what's usually a stressful time.
- Could you define some general industry terms for me?

So, the interview was one on one, but there were three different people interviewing me. First, it was my recruiter, then a lead from the department, and finally, the Senior Director. They were all really nice and seemed excited about the company and when I asked them anything. They really paid attention when I talked and didn't make it obvious they were judging my answers, so it felt really welcoming, comfortable, and like a normal chat. The main thing that's kind of bugging me is the lack of follow-up after the interview. I get that the timeline for a decision can change, but it's been over a month, and they initially said it would be 1-2 weeks to wrap things up. I followed up twice, and the second time they said they'd have a decision by the end of that week, which was 3.5 weeks after the interview. It's now been five weeks, and still no word, not even an email explaining the delays. This is frustrating because they mentioned they wanted to move quickly so I could tell my current employer if I'd be staying for the summer.

Senior Recruiter
The initial stages of the interview process were promising, with several phone calls that seemed to go well. However, the in-person interview took a turn for the worse unexpectedly. It felt as though the interviewer might have been impaired. It's strongly advised to thoroughly check the company's reviews. If you have over 5 years of experience, be prepared for your time to be undervalued. You'll likely face repetitive, standard questions about your compensation and background, and then be made to feel like you should be grateful for the opportunity to interview. There are better companies in the industry than this recruitment agency. Reading the company's reviews will provide significant insight into their treatment of both employees and candidates.
