Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Orlando Magic.
Graduate Associate
After initial contact with HR via phone or email, there were 2 interview rounds. The first round was with the manager, and the second round was with the team. The interviewers were all very nice and made me feel comfortable.
- Could you introduce yourself and explain your interest in this role?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Can you describe your previous experiences?
Graduate Associate
I went through a phone screen and then a panel interview on zoom. It was very casual and everyone was easy to talk to. I was asked for references and I provided them. I did not appreciate that I was kept in the dark for nearly a month between my final interview and when I received a rejection. I understand that sometimes things take time, but more communication would have been helpful.
- Can you share a strength and a weakness?

The interview process can differ depending on the specific job, but it typically includes an HR screening, a discussion with the hiring manager, and then a team interview. The process is generally quite efficient and they are prompt with their feedback.
