I got a quick call from HR first. Then, the hiring manager saw my resume and rang me up to set up a video chat on Teams. It was a pretty thorough interview with six questions about specific situations and actions. They laid out the job details and what the role entails, and I got to ask them stuff too. Got the offer the very next day.

This interview process is really something else. I've gone through several phone screenings, and then they called me in for four different interviews. Each time I came in, they told me the job was already taken! It's a real head-scratcher why they'd waste everyone's time if the position was already filled. At the end of every single interview, I ask what I could've done better on my resume or in the interview to get picked. They always say my resume is perfect and I interview really well, and that nothing needs improvement. It just doesn't add up...

I applied online for a project manager role and they reached out. After a brief call with the senior director, where I mentioned my move from South Florida to Orlando, they said they were hiring fast and invited me for an interview a few days later, which I managed to schedule. The interview seemed to go well, but I never heard back. I only saw the job posted again about a month later. While I get not being chosen, I think after an in-person interview, it's basic courtesy to follow up with a call or email saying I wasn't selected, rather than being ghosted. Orlando Health seems like a great company, but I wanted to give feedback that their follow-up process needs improvement.

I applied for a Pharmacy Technician job, thinking it was standard inpatient or outpatient. But the interviewer told me it was actually a sterile clean room role at the Cancer Institute at DR Phillips, which wasn't in the job description. Her email signature was also for a different branch in Ocoee. I went to check it out anyway and shadowed to see what the job entailed. It was alright, but then the interviewer said I needed to be flexible about working at other locations. It felt a bit off because she initially implied I'd only work at that one place when I asked about a hospital near me that was hiring. Honestly, the interviewer seemed unprofessional. Oh, and a side note, I also interviewed a few months later for a Specialty Liaison position that said South Orlando, but the actual site was in Ocoee. They really need to update their careers website.
