Behavioral

I had 3 interviews: one with a recruiter, one with a director, and one with a potential colleague. About a week after, I got a generic email saying I didn't get the position. I tried emailing them multiple times for updates but never heard back, which was really disappointing and frustrating. The interviews themselves went really well, so I'm not sure why I didn't get an offer.

There were three stages in the interview process. The first was a technical interview, the second involved meeting with the development team, and the third was a meeting with the management team. The interviews focused heavily on Azure DevOps questions and understanding CI/CD Pipelines, with a few specific questions about Release Management.

Technical Behavioral

It was a 3 round process. The first round was a mix of technical and behavioral questions. The second and third rounds were purely behavioral. Everyone was really nice throughout the whole process, and they mainly just wanted to learn who you are and why you are interested in joining them.

Case Presentation

I met the Managing Director in person over lunch, which was a standard interview. I was told I would have to complete a case study, which was sent to me electronically. The assignment was due in a day and a half, and required quite a few hours of work. Despite having a full time job, I worked their silly request and submitted it before their deadline. These people didn’t even have the courtesy to ever get back to me with any feedback or a formal decision, and ignored my own follow-up attempts. Simply appalling how they treated me.

  • Were you asked to complete a financial case study?
