This felt like an ableist interview. They said I'd have one question but ended up asking three. One person spoke for a minute about a question, barely giving me time to process. They were timing me and said they only had 5 minutes left. I'm still debating if I should file a formal complaint. It was awful, and they ghosted me after I emailed twice. After the first email, I was told they'd decide mid-week, but I never heard back. It was incredibly unprofessional.

I applied for a summer internship at FDA. The hiring manager was my interviewer. First, they gave a general overview of FDA and what they expect from the intern. Then, we talked about my background, with a focus on my past internship projects. They asked a few behavioral questions, like how others perceive me and if I could share an example of a past conflict during teamwork. Lastly, the interviewer touched on possible projects for the summer and asked about my interests. It was a really nice interview overall.

The interview process was quite extensive, involving four distinct rounds with various teams. Initially, I spoke with the principal investigator (PI). Subsequent interviews were conducted by physicians and oncologists, and the final round was with the directors. The focus of the interviews was primarily on my past research contributions and their relevance to the ongoing projects.
