Energy Specialist
It started with a recruiter chat, then there was one online interview with some managers. They asked a lot of questions about customer service and used scenarios or examples. You'll need to prepare a lot because they expect you to really know the job.
- Can you tell me about a time you got feedback and what you did about it?

I applied online and shortly after got a call from a pleasant lady. I didn't realize it was an interview at first, as I was out and about, so it was a very relaxed phone interview with a few questions. It was quite chill, and then she referred me for a second interview via Zoom. This time, I met two nice people, and it was very casual. It was a 'behavioural interview,' which I had to look up. I was quite nervous for this one and did some research beforehand, preparing examples of how I've gone above and beyond for customer service. There were about 10 questions, lasting around 45-50 minutes, and I also got to ask some questions. My recruitment manager called soon after to offer me the job. My advice is to do your homework, don't stress, and be confident.
- Using the STAR approach, tell me about yourself, your skills, and your experience.
- Can you provide an example of a time you went above and beyond to deliver excellent customer service?
- Describe a situation where you realized you made a mistake and explain what you learned from it.
Energy Specialist
had just 1xvirtual interview with two supervisors. Both were fairly friendly, however the questions and the prompts for more specific answers was a bit over the top for the role it was - i think one of the TLs that interviewed took their job a little too seriously. I'm happy they didn't check my references, because there seems to be a good chance i won't pass probation - mostly based on the fact they recruit every two weeks [wtf???], which is concerning. However, it does pay well, so as long as i can secure work for the short term, it'll do. (I really hope i don't get that supervisor)
- Tell me about a challenging customer service call you handled.
