& Process

So after applying, I had a quick phone screening. Then like two days later, I was interviewed in a room with two employees, and then another room with two more employees. Both were like 15-20 mins each and super casual and chill, which was nice. They asked me stuff about my resume and mostly behavioral questions. We actually talked more about getting to know each other instead of a super formal interview. They really wanted to see my personality and if I'd fit the company culture. The last thing was an online aptitude test. Got an offer the day after.

Got the interview through my school's job board. You could just sign up without needing to be selected first, though they did change my interview times a few times. It was pretty standard behavioral stuff, they just wanted to get to know me and see if I'd fit with the team. I noticed they mostly hire experienced people from risk management, so most of the employees are older. The first interviewer was really nice and asked about my background. Then, I was immediately moved to another room with two more interviewers. These two seemed a bit awkward, like they don't talk to people much, and they asked almost the same questions, even making inside jokes. They said they're looking for people who fit in because they're a small firm. They aren't necessarily looking for the most qualified candidates, because even though I have an offer from a much more prestigious company, I didn't get an offer from them.

The interview was pretty chill. You go into two rooms, with two people in each. After about half an hour, you switch rooms and the people in there interview you. They throw in a curve ball question at the end to check out how you problem solve.
