Talked with HR about my experience and why I want to work for Organon. If that went well, I talked with the hiring manager and then the director of the department. Got a tour of the main building. No tests were required.

I participated in the selection process for the HR Director Italy position at Organon, but I decided not to proceed further. I find it unacceptable that the company is looking for a new HR Director without informing the current holder of the position, thus creating a situation of total lack of transparency and respect. Moreover, I was told about a highly stressed HR team with a high risk of turnover, a sign of problematic management of the department. Considering these elements, I believe that Organon does not offer a stable and reliable work environment, and I do not intend to enter a context with such critical issues.

First, I had a screening call with a recruiter who went over the role and its requirements. Then, I interviewed with the direct manager. This was also pretty relaxed, and we discussed the team and department in detail. They mentioned two more rounds, with two teammates and the Head of Department. I never heard back from the recruiter after that, despite trying to reach them.

After submitting my CV, the recruiter responded the next day, and the initial conversation went well, with no issues regarding speaking English. However, the subsequent interview in Oss was disappointing. Despite my CV and cover letter stating I've lived in the Netherlands for just over a year and have a B1/B2 Dutch level, and applying for a role requiring 'good' Dutch and English, the interviewers seemed surprised by my length of stay. They reacted negatively when I introduced myself mostly in Dutch, concluding with only one short English sentence. They seemed uncomfortable with English and pushed for Dutch, mentioning that some colleagues don't speak it. This created unnecessary language barriers during important discussions. I felt discouraged, switching between languages. I was also informed beforehand that no drinks would be provided. Many questions felt pointless, and the perception of not trying hard enough to learn Dutch was frankly insulting. This contrasted sharply with the first interview where English was fine. I felt misled and very let down by the experience.
