I had two phone interviews with engineers. The whole process felt disorganized. My interviewers were in noisy places, and I had to repeat myself. They didn't seem to have a clear agenda for the interviews, making it awkward. I was surprised they weren't more organized after being in business for so long. They lacked code reviews, clear timelines, dev cycles, and a roadmap, which was a major issue. Their tech choices were questionable, and they couldn't explain how they optimized performance. I never heard back, and after the second interview, I knew I wasn't interested. It's unprofessional to leave candidates hanging. I also found out about their history of manipulating search results and hijacking pages, and their poor response to press, which made them look weak for a YC startup.

The interview process began with an initial introductory call, then I spoke with a current Account Executive, followed by an interview with the Head of Growth and Sales, and concluded with an interview with the CEO. Three mock sales pitches were required, one with each of the Account Executive, Head of Growth, and CEO. The interviews were mostly positive, but the CEO seemed uninterested and pressed for time, which I suppose is typical for a sales role. However, his demeanor came off as arrogant. Despite reaching the final stage, I never heard back, suggesting disorganization on their part. Ultimately, it was for the best as I would have declined any offer given the low salary for San Francisco and the company's lack of growth despite investor expectations. They've received significant negative press recently and are struggling in a competitive market dominated by GrubHub. I wouldn't recommend this company.

I had a bunch of phone interviews. It started with a recruiter call. Then I had three more calls with people on the sales team, including a sales manager and two other SDRs. The last interview was a final phone call with the CEO. He was kind of rude and off-putting during our chat, which is saying something because I'm not easily offended. He made me do a few mock sales calls and then gave me feedback, but I felt he was overly critical and nit-picky.

I applied online and then had a phone chat with the recruiter. After that, I spoke with my future manager over the phone. Then, they flew me out to the main San Francisco office for an interview. There, I met with the main interviewer and also got to meet the CEO. They showed me around the office and explained the day-to-day operations.
