The interview process was very detailed, thorough, robust and insightful. The team was very welcoming, accommodating and thoughtful. They paid great attention to the candidates and made them feel at home, while giving them opportunities to express their unique skills and abilities.
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
Intern
There were three rounds in total. The first round was a group presentation at their offices. The second round was at UBC where they asked about my background and experience, and some hypothetical questions. The third round was back at Orbis and consisted mainly of 'fit' questions.
- Hypothetically, if you were given a million dollars, how would you use it?
Intern
I had a first interview where I was asked about basic financial knowledge, like DCF and ROE. Then, before the second interview, I had to do a case study on a company. The last round involved discussing my case study with some analysts.
