First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt.
Manager
The interview process at Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt starts with an online application, then a phone screening, followed by an in-person interview. They are looking for how you handle customer service, teamwork, and your availability. A positive attitude is key.
- What is your approach to resolving issues with unhappy customers?
Cashier
I applied in person and a few days later they called me to set up an interview. Then, about an hour before the interview, the interviewer called to reschedule for the next day because he was at another store. The actual interview was pretty relaxed, just sitting in the store and talking. The interviewer was easygoing and not intimidating, and we laughed a bit even though I was nervous. He mentioned that my available hours didn't match the hours he was hiring for, but he'd still consider me, which made me wonder why he called me in when my availability was clear on the application. At the end, he said another person was coming in that weekend and he'd decide and call both of us the following Monday or Tuesday. It's been over a month, and I still haven't heard back, which is fine since I found a job elsewhere, but it's annoying because he said he'd call and let us know. I would have at least appreciated hearing back, even if I didn't get the job.
- If you worked for Orange Leaf and could create a flavor, what would you pick?
- What is your desired pay rate?
- Do you participate in any sports or clubs at school?
Sales Associate
I applied on the web and heard back about two weeks after. I sat down for a one-on-one chat with the owner and they gave me the offer the very next day. It was a really laid-back, chill talk, not stressful at all, and all in all it was a pretty good experience.
- Tell me about your strengths.
- What about your weaknesses?
- Why are you interested in working at Orange Leaf?
Kitchen Staff
I came in and we sat down, and I was asked a lot about what I was looking for in this job and what my outside life was like. It was really relaxed, and my employer was quite pleasant. When we were finished, they told me to have a nice day and that they will call me within a week.
- What days will you need off?
