Software Engineer
So the whole process was like this: First, we had to submit our resumes through a portal, and after about two days, they sent an email saying if we were shortlisted. Then there was a technical interview where they asked Java questions, some SQL questions, and also some puzzles. Finally, there was an HR round.

- In SQL, if you have a table with 'Name' and 'Gender' columns, how would you swap the 'Gender' values for each 'Name'?

So, when you apply for a software developer job at Orange Business in Blagnac, there are usually a few steps. First, they do a pre-selection to see if your profile matches what they need. If it does, you'll move on to a phone or video call with someone from HR to check your background, motivation, and basic tech skills. If that goes well, you'll have a technical interview, either in person or via video. This is where they really test your programming, framework, and database knowledge with some deep questions and maybe practical exercises. They also look at your soft skills, like teamwork, problem-solving, and how you handle deadlines. Finally, depending on the role, there might be a final interview with management. Just remember, the process can change, so it's good to research the company, brush up on your tech skills, and prepare for interviews. Stay calm, be confident, and show your enthusiasm!
- Can you share your background in software development?
- Which programming languages are you most proficient in?
- Could you walk us through your software development workflow, from initial concept to deployment?

After getting an email from the recruiter to schedule an interview, I picked a time and date through an automated system. Then I got an email confirming the interview and the coordinator's details. But the email didn't have the Teams Call link as mentioned. On the interview day, I had to call the coordinator for the link because it was missing. She told me to wait 10 minutes for it, but I never got it. I tried calling her again, but she rejected my calls. I was really surprised by this and had a terrible experience waiting for the interview.
