I had a phone call with a corporate recruiter, then had one final interview where I had to create a presentation and present it. The interview was for the Acadomi so I also spoke with two of the coaches and then spoke with one coach 1 on 1.

Applied through LinkedIn and was contacted by a recruiter for a pre-screen. It was short and positive, but I learned they require a two-month training period at their HQ in Atlanta, even though the job is in Plano, TX. I was surprised by the length and location of the training, given my prior technical recruiting experience. The recruiter then asked for my availability to speak with a trainer, which I found a bit unusual. Before providing my availability, I inquired about flexibility in the training, specifically if it could be done in Plano, as two months in Atlanta seemed difficult with my family and responsibilities. She stated it wasn't possible due to a lack of resources in Plano. I really wanted the job and spent hours figuring out the logistics to make the Atlanta training work. I confirmed with the recruiter that I could make the Atlanta training happen and gave my availability for the trainer call. After that, I was completely ghosted. I followed up a few days later, and she confirmed she received my email and was waiting to hear back from the hiring team. It felt like their initial eagerness disappeared after I raised the issue of flexibility, leading me to believe they might be avoiding working mothers/parents, which left a negative impression. The opportunity seemed great initially, but it appears they're unwilling to accommodate any inconvenience, which could lead to discrimination issues.

I was recruited by an internal recruiter, so I had a phone interview with that individual first, and then another phone interview with the COO. Both of those calls were about 20-30 minutes long. After that, I had an onsite interview that lasted about 1-2 hours where I met with several members of the team. It was a pretty conversational vibe, they wanted to know what made me passionate about recruiting and see if I would fit the company culture well.
