Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Options Group.
Recruiter
The interview is mainly about your past experience and if you'd be a good cultural/career fit. I really liked how Options Group made sure it was a good fit for me too, not just for them. Everyone was really open about their daily tasks, what to expect, and how you'd fit in.
- Can you share more about your previous experience?
- How do you align with our culture and what are your career goals?
- What are your thoughts on the day-to-day responsibilities and fitting into the organization?
Executive Recruiter
The interview process was a bit all over the place. The people I met were clearly top-notch executive search folks, but the whole thing felt disorganized. Nobody senior seemed to know who I'd already talked to or what they thought, so I found myself repeating myself a lot. I'm hoping they smooth out the process for future candidates.
- Given your understanding of this market, what leads you to believe you can be successful in it?
Recruiter
Met with senior management a few times. Got to meet the people I'd be working with and learn about the environment. Went out for lunch and drinks with several team members before I made my decision.
- How are you liking your current role?
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
