Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Optimum Healthcare IT.
Trainer
The interview process was quick, starting with a job fair in Chicago, IL. They used a fast-tracked approach, and then I had to give two presentations. About 100 to 150 people were there trying for the role, and then we were told about the next steps.
- Can you describe yourself using only three words?
Trainer
I got invited to a special job fair by a recruiter. It went on for four hours one evening and we could show up whenever. First, I did a quick one-on-one interview with some interviewers in a hotel meeting room. There were lines of people, and it lasted about five minutes per person. Then, I had to do a mock training session. I went into a private room with four people, drew a topic, had 30 seconds to prep, and then trained them for two minutes.
- How do you define customer service?
Trainer
Had a phone chat with the recruiter, then an onsite with the company person and a second chat with the client person. Got the news by email and phone like four days after. Then it was a rush to finish all the paperwork and the drug test. Getting started was done online at my own pace.
- Can you summarize yourself in three words?
- What makes you want to take this job?
- Tell me about your experience.
