So at Optibus, the interview is pretty in-depth and meant to be engaging. First up, you'll chat with HR for a screening call; they'll go over your resume and iron out any role details. Then, expect some technical assessments or tasks specific to the job, like coding tasks for tech roles or case studies for operations. After those, you'll have interviews with the team and managers to check your tech skills and how you solve problems. The last step is usually an interview with senior management or important people, where they want to know about your drive, career goals, and if you'll fit in with the company culture. They're really good at keeping you in the loop, giving feedback, and making sure you get what Optibus is all about. It's all set up so both you and Optibus can see if it's a good fit.

The behavioural part was good, but the technical interview felt like an interrogation. There was no time for intros or for me to ask any questions, just rapid-fire questions. The interviewer had a long list of questions and wanted every single detail. They seemed unsatisfied and uninterested no matter what I said. They didn't respond to or show interest in any of my answers. The interviewer asked open-ended hypothetical questions and after each answer kept pushing with "and then what would you do". It was a degrading and demoralizing experience overall. I don't recommend it and hope you don't get this interviewer.

The first interview with the Recruiter was very easy and pleasant: - Introduction - Review of work experience - They asked me about a time I had to transform complex content into simple text - Updates on the process were clear and very fast. The day after the interview, I already knew if I was moving on or not. - The salary range for the position was informed in the first interview. Very transparent! In the second interview, more specific questions related to the role appeared.

The process was really long: first a short intro chat, then two technical interviews each lasting 1.5 hours. After that, there was a 45-minute demo and product explanation before the home assignment. I spent about 6-7 hours on the home assignment, but it could easily take longer. Then, there was a 1-hour review of the home assignment. The final interview was really bad; the manager was super aggressive, disrespectful, and rude. This made it hard for me to answer questions well, and it just got worse from there. I felt insulted. Later, when they said they weren't moving forward, I asked why. They mentioned the final interview didn't go well and that they expected the home assignment to be more object-oriented, though the instructions were vague and I'd asked about preferences. They said object-oriented wasn't necessarily the only right way, especially if you don't want to spend too much time. I was disappointed for a bit, but then realized I wouldn't want to work with an aggressive manager or a company that doesn't respect my time.
