It was a smooth interview process, with good communication from the company and a nice, calm interview setting. They asked me questions that were relevant to the role and seemed genuinely interested in learning about me as a person, not just as a potential hire.

So I was referred internally, and after my contact sent my resume over, an HR person hit me up to apply online. Once I did that, they set me up for a whole day of interviews with like, three or four different people. The interviews were pretty chill, like conversational, not super tough. But then, a week later, crickets. I followed up with the HR person, and they were like, 'Oh, we don't actually have any openings.' So I wasted a whole PTO day for this whole song and dance, only to be told there's no job. Seriously disrespectful. I'm never looking at this company again, and honestly, neither should you if you care about your time. It makes me wonder how they treat their actual employees if they pull this on internal referrals. What does that say about their culture? But hey, at least I used up a valuable day off, right?
