Behavioral Presentation

The interview process included a screening call, an enablement interview, and a manager interview. It was pretty standard stuff. For the enablement interview, there will be a mock call, but don't stress too much about it. Just go through all the usual steps, even if you feel like you're being a bit pushy, and make sure you secure the meeting. They won't shut you down, it's not a real call.

Behavioral

It was about an hour long interview, and the interviewer was really friendly. You should do some studying beforehand and definitely do not be late. If possible, try to get there early because parking can get pretty crazy. The dress code is business casual, but it’s probably better to go with business professional. Take some time to study other people’s interviews; maybe they had a tough question that might come up for you too, which could really help out a ton.

Behavioral Other

I had a phone call with someone from the company, then an in-person interview to see if it was a good fit for both of us. After that, there was a phone role-play to assess how I sound on the phone and interact. Most of the business is conducted over the phone, but it also involves using email, internet research, and daily calendars, so you need to be comfortable with follow-up to be successful.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • I honestly don't remember, it was too long ago. Pretty typical interview questions, so just come prepared and take notes.

Behavioral Technical

My first interaction was a 30-minute phone call, followed by an hour-long virtual interview. I noticed a few things that made me question Operatix's professionalism. The virtual interview started late, with the interviewer showing up more than 5 minutes past the scheduled time, which wasn't a great start. Also, their emails had noticeable grammar mistakes and generally lacked professionalism. They said I'd hear back in 24-48 hours, but that time passed without any contact. I had to reach out myself to get an update, which was a bummer since they promised a timeline. The interview itself was pretty straightforward, with some basic questions and a practice sales call. After going through it all, I feel like Operatix might expect more from candidates than they deliver themselves. There seems to be a gap between their stated values and how they operate internally. Based on what I saw and my own skills, I'm confident I could do better than their current SDRs.
