Angela the recruiter reached out to set up a HR phonescreen. Then, there was another 45 min phone interview with the hiring manager, where the questions asked were aligned with the job description. Following that, I had an onsite interview that lasted for half a day; the questions were also relevant here. After this, they arranged for a final onsite interview, which required me to prepare a 30-45 minute presentation and go through another set of interviews. Overall, it was a good experience. Angela, the recruiter, was very clear and communicative about what to expect, and the hiring managers were very pleasant to talk with.

The entire interview process was great. I had an initial HR screen, followed by two phone interviews with the hiring manager and their supervisor because I'm on the east coast. I really enjoyed talking with the senior product managers; there was a lot of overlap with my current employer's tech stack and my job responsibilities. The HR team and recruiters were also super friendly and professional. I did withdraw my application before the onsite interviews because I accepted another position, but I'd definitely consider OpenX again if I were looking for a new role in the future.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It's been over 5 weeks and I still haven't heard back from OpenX. I sent thank you notes and followed up with the recruiter but got no response, which is disappointing given a similar experience I read about on Glassdoor. The interview process started with the usual screening, a recruiter chat, and then a meeting with the hiring manager. After that, I was invited for an on-site interview at their headquarters. I had 5 one-on-one meetings and also gave a presentation. The interview was challenging because they asked me questions about solving their current issues without explicitly stating what those problems were. For example, they gave me an Excel file to look at for just two minutes and then asked what I saw. When I asked about the specific problem, they pushed me to interpret the data.
