Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Opensignal.
Business Analyst
It was a pretty long interview process. First, I had a phone screen with HR. After that, there was an excel test. Then came a presentation demo, followed by four interviews. Finally, there were three more interviews with the hiring managers. Having prior experience in business or marketing analytics would be very helpful.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Business Analyst
First, I had a 30-minute call with the recruiter, then a 30-minute call with the Director. After that, I was given an Excel exercise and a PowerPoint case study to finish. I then presented the PowerPoint case study to a group of Directors and a VP. Finally, I met with the hiring manager, two other directors, and a VP. Two of the onsite interviews involved simple cases, and the other two were more general background and knowledge based.
- Can you describe your approach to the analysis performed in the case study?
Business Analyst
I first got contacted via LinkedIn, then had a 30-minute intro chat which seemed to go fine. After that, they sent me an assignment to test my skills, which was way more involved than typical skills assessments I've done before. I finished the assignment and submitted it on time, but they told me the feedback wasn't good enough and decided not to move forward with any more interviews.
- Tell me about your Excel experience.
