The recruiters were really nice and helpful throughout. The rounds were super specific and scenario-based. The panel was friendly and more focused on discussion than a strict right/wrong approach. They didn't use trick questions or LeetCode-style evaluations.

I got an email and did a recruiter call, then talked to the tech lead for a bit and a technical screen. Had another call after that to ask questions before the onsite. The onsite had three technical interviews covering system design, backend, and frontend, then I talked with a product manager and the general manager. I got an offer call but after some negotiation calls, I waited two weeks with no answer. I emailed for an update and was told they were interviewing other people. A week later, a recruiter told me the position was no longer available but I could talk to another hiring manager for a similar role and potentially get hired without another interview if it went well. After that call, I never heard back from them.

First, there was an online coding challenge, and then an onsite interview. The onsite part felt short and easy, which made me think the hiring bar for this company is quite low. I noticed several red flags throughout the interview process. The interviewers seemed unhappy when discussing their jobs. Scheduling the interviews was extremely disorganized and frustrating. The HR team acted like aggressive salespeople and seemed incompetent. The hiring manager tried to downplay the business risks of a company that buys, holds, and resells apartments. The company seems to have a lot of junior engineers, suggesting limited learning opportunities for new hires. They are hiring rapidly, potentially increasing the number of junior engineers. I also learned about someone who left after only four months. I did receive an offer but declined it quickly. It's worth noting that while the company's overall Glassdoor reviews seem positive, filtering for Software Engineer reviews reveals a different picture.
