The interview process took about a month from the first contact to the final decision, which is pretty standard. It included a screening, a hiring manager interview, a case study, a review of that case study with the hiring manager and another manager, and then a panel interview with three managers from the team. The recruiter was really responsive and efficient in scheduling everything, answering questions about salary, benefits, and what to expect. They set up all the calls quickly, making it the smoothest and most consistent interview process I've experienced.

Behavioral Case Presentation

I had seven interviews with six different people on six different days. This is a G&A role. It sounds like the hiring manager probably was not trusted with a hiring decision, and thus each additional stakeholder in the process wasn't trusted until the final person had his say. Although I was interviewing remotely, and there was a holiday over the five week process, I felt it definitely could have been streamlined a bit better. After the first round interview with the recruiter, the next step is to complete a "homework assignment" to give the hiring manager an idea of how you're likely to respond to given situations. This is fine, however, after the third round interview, I was told that an additional challenge would be given because the first homework assignment had not been specific enough.

It was too many meetings with people who seemed disinterested. You really have to be techy and show that you can meet with 10 levels of employees across all divisions. It felt like a waste of time and most of them were not interested.
