First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Open Education.
ESL Teacher
It was a recorded interview with 5 simple questions. The interview was online and straightforward. I received a link, and the interview could be recorded whenever I wanted. It took about 15 minutes. They announced the results within 7 days.
- Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
Sales Agent
We had to wait an hour for the interview. The supervisors seemed unprepared to conduct it. Lots of candidates were crammed into a tiny room, which made everyone uncomfortable. The first person we met from HR didn't even know what job we were applying for and mixed up the details.
- Would there be difficulty in making impactful sales?
Sales Executive
The entire process was really smooth and Marcela guided it very well. All the job details, as well as salary, were presented clearly and directly. After the first stage, there was a very well-thought-out case study that was connected to the job's reality. The whole process felt human, effective, and very practical.
- Did you know CRM and which ones?
Customer Success Manager
I was contacted on LinkedIn by HR and we scheduled our first call. It was great, very direct and transparent. At the end of the call, the recruiter even said she was rooting for me. I then had the interview with the manager in the standard format, also very direct and transparent. The last phase involved a group dynamic with 3 other people where we simulated some problems and how we would solve them. Each person explained their priority and in the end, we had to reach a consensus. My final impression of the process was a cautious selection of the right person, with care taken to ensure transparency with the candidate.
