Software Engineer
The interviewing process was extremely disorganized, honestly the worst I've experienced. There was no respect for anyone's time. The recruiter missed my initial call. Things just got progressively worse with constant rescheduling. I received a last-minute demand for a phone interview the very next day, with the threat of waiting weeks if I couldn't make it, which was then cancelled anyway. It took another 3-4 weeks after the phone interview to schedule an onsite, and again, I had no choice in timing – it was presented as a take-it-or-leave-it situation. Overall, a really terrible interviewing experience that highlights how little the company values its people. It's hard to imagine how they manage software development given how poorly run the organization is.
- The technical questions asked in the interview were quite basic.
Inside Sales Representative
I had a phone interview with an online recruiter, who was very professional and friendly. Then, I was given a 45-minute sales test. After that, I had an initial phone interview with the education director. She called me the next day and invited me to a second interview where I met all the staff, including the operations manager. Since everyone works closely as a team, I think everyone has a say in hiring. Unfortunately, I was competing with another candidate for the job, and they hired him. The education director mentioned she wished she could have hired both of us, but it wouldn't make financial sense. If you're lucky enough to get an interview here, go for it. Everyone was very nice and welcoming, and it's a shame I wasn't hired. P.S. They offer catered lunch and free coffee, which was a nice perk.
- What value would you add to this team?
Administrative Assistant
The hiring process was pretty long, starting in early December and I didn't get a final answer until January 2nd. It began with a phone interview. If they liked me, I then met with the operations manager, and after that, the office staff. If that initial interview went well, I was sent to the specific office I applied for to meet with the staff there. The offer depends on everyone agreeing that you're a good fit. I'm pretty sure one staff member didn't like me from the start, and I think that was a big reason I didn't get the offer.
- In five years, where do you envision yourself?
- Could you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
- How much does a particular managerial style matter to you?
Sales Executive
I applied for the job and reached out to the recruiter on LinkedIn. We scheduled a call. It felt really robotic, like they just started asking questions immediately. The interviewer would ask something, go silent, then ask the next thing. There was no feedback or reaction. At the end, they told me about the pay, which is all commission. It's $3K/month for the first 3 months, and then just commission after that. I totally lost interest then.
- Can you tell me why you're applying?
- What's your reason for leaving your current position?
- Describe your approach to B2C sales.
