The hiring process can feel a bit lengthy, but it typically follows a set pattern. While each company has its own approach, most modern hiring processes include four to five main steps to assess your skills, personality, and how well you'd fit into the team. This structure is designed to give a comprehensive view of a candidate.

For a graduation project internship, the process starts with submitting your resume and portfolio, maybe with a recommendation letter from your college. After they review applications, they'll pick candidates based on how relevant your work is, your studies, and your design sense. Then, they'll call the chosen ones for an interview, which could be in person or online. In the interview, expect questions about your portfolio, college projects, software skills, and if you know the brand you're applying to. They might also ask why you want to intern with them and how you'd add to their design ideas. If you get picked, you'll get an email or letter saying what's expected and when to start.

Got a call from a recruiter first for a 20 min chat about my background, experience, and interest in the role. They also talked about the company and the job. Then, I got a take-home technical assessment to do in 48 hours, with real-world problems related to the job. It was tough but fair, letting me show my skills. The last part was a panel interview, in person or video, with the hiring manager and two team members. They asked about behavior, situations, and stuff from the take-home test. It was professional but chill.

There were two interviews. The first was a behavioral interview where they asked about challenges I've faced, times I've been determined, and my accomplishments. The second interview was to gauge my problem-solving skills and thinking process. They presented hypothetical situations relevant to the role and asked how I'd handle them or prepare.
