Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OneSource Virtual.
Consultant
I had a phone screen with the recruiter, then spoke on the phone with two engagement leaders and the person who will be my direct manager. I was offered the position. Since I'll be working remotely, I asked for an in-person visit to the office.
- Can you share your previous experience with WD?
- What's your approach to dealing with a challenging client?
- What are some examples of typical consultant duties or situations you've encountered?
Consultant
I was contacted by their Corporate Recruiter who found my profile online. Pretty quickly, I was set up with an interview with the hiring manager. The interview process was really thorough, and the hiring manager did a great job explaining the role, the company culture, and what training is provided. The application, background check, and drug test were all done online, which was convenient and saved a lot of time.
- Do you prefer working in a structured or a dynamic environment?
Professional Services Consultant
I applied for a few jobs I was qualified for and heard back from Talent Management within 12 hours of submitting my resume. We had a long talk about my background and career goals. I had my second interview within a week. Right after that, I got sent the ProfileXT test and they started the background check. I got the offer that same week after we sorted out the salary.
- Can you tell me about your qualifications and career path?
- No specific questions were asked beyond typical screening inquiries.
