I got reached out by a recruiter for an online interview which I passed and moved to the onsite round. There, I had 3 back-to-back interviews: one technical, one behavioural, and one with the CSO. It was a good experience overall, but I got ghosted after they told me I was in the final 2 for the selection. I later found out they closed the position.

The interview was in-person at the Skysong Office and had 3 rounds with different people. The first one was the longest and was a technical test with a coding challenge. I had to check if a string of brackets like (), [], {} was balanced. This showed my problem-solving and Python algorithm skills. The second interview was with the tech lead, more of a chat about my background and why I'm a good fit. It wasn't about coding but more how I approach engineering, teamwork, and solving problems. The last interview was short, with the COO, who wanted to know my personality and asked about my biggest weakness. It was a solid process, mixing tech skills and checking if I'd fit in. The team was professional and nice.

The first round was a telephonic call, lasting about 15 minutes. It included basic questions like 'Tell me about yourself,' 'best project on which you worked,' and some fundamental questions from Node.js and React.js. It was pretty easy. The second round was a technical interview. The scheduled time was 45 minutes but it went over an hour. Most of the questions were scenario-based, like how synchronous code execution differs from asynchronous, how to handle API calls, how to find a correct API out of 50 if only one is correct, and what middlewares are. There were also more questions from Node.js, Javascript, HTML, CSS, and React.js. After the interview, there was no response from the HR team. It's been about 18 days since the interview; I've sent follow-up emails and made a phone call to HR, but she hasn't answered.

Confirmed questions2 questions

The interview process was super smooth and everything was well organized. From the first screen to getting the final offer, communication was clear and came quickly. Each step just flowed into the next, making it a really positive and efficient experience. The interviewers were pros and really engaging, which made me feel like they valued me as a candidate. All in all, it was a surprisingly pleasant journey through the hiring process.
