First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OneDigital.
Director
Started with a recruiter call, followed by two separate one-on-one interviews. Although everything went well, there was no interview with the hiring manager, which I expected to happen first. After nearly two weeks of waiting and having to chase the recruiter myself, I was informed they were pursuing a different direction and restructuring the role. It's confusing why the position is still advertised everywhere. I would have appreciated a straightforward explanation for the abrupt change. Honestly, the organizational changes during the interview process suggest a lack of structure.

Marketing Manager
I had a phone call with a Senior Corporate Recruiter about a marketing leadership role. It seemed to go well and they said their assistant would call me later or the next day to schedule time with the hiring manager. I was excited. Two days passed with no contact, so I left a voicemail. The following week, still nothing, so I emailed. Soon after, I got a generic email saying they were moving forward with other candidates whose experience better matched their current priorities. I felt this was a role I was qualified for and met all requirements. While I know not everyone moves forward, the lack of communication between the initial excitement and the decision made me feel dismissed. OneDigital seems like a good company, but my experience wasn't.

Benefit Advisor
Applied online and heard back within 2-3 business days. Had a phone interview with a recruiter to discuss my background and the company basics. They seemed to like me, so I went for an in-person interview with the hiring manager. This was about a 45-minute chat where he asked about what I'm looking for. It felt pretty informal and not too nerve-wracking. After a few minutes, it was just a normal conversation, which was nice.
- What drives you?
- What kind of atmosphere do you like to work in?
- You'll be working alone most of the time, how do you feel about that compared to a group setting?
Executive Assistant
The interview process was very extensive. I had 6 separate interviews in total. It started with an intro call with HR, then a video call with my potential direct manager, the person whose role I would be taking over, and another team member. Following that, I had an in-person interview with two of the three people from the video call. After that, I was invited back for another in-person interview where I met the executives I'd be working for. The 5th interview was with an HR person who went through my resume in detail. Lastly, I had a final interview with the top executives of the company. It was pretty misleading to go through all these interviews only to be told afterward that they decided to go with someone else.
- Could you describe your approach to team management?
- What would you do if an employee was consistently showing up late?
