Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OneAmerica Financial.
Change Manager
It was a pretty neutral experience overall. The people were good, although it's Finance, so perhaps not the most thrilling area. It seems like a good company for a mid-sized, national firm. The interviewer was quite good and posed some solid questions.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
Manager
There were 3 interviews total. It started with an HR phone screen, then a virtual interview with a 3-person panel, and finally a one-on-one with the hiring manager. It was an engaging interview that felt more like a conversation than just behavioral questions.
- How would you resolve a conflict within your team?
Manager
I applied in mid-May and got an email for a phone interview about three weeks later. The phone interview was great and lasted about 15 minutes. The HR rep was knowledgeable, which was impressive. After that, things went quiet.
- All expected questions were asked.
