Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OneAdvanced.
Software Developer
The first round was an aptitude test where you had to solve numerical, verbal, reasoning, and diagrammatic reasoning questions really fast. Then there was a behavioral assessment. The second round was a coding challenge with 3 problems (1 SQL, 2 DSA) and 20 programming MCQs, to be finished in 90 minutes. Round 3 was the Technical Interview, and Round 4 was the HR Interview. After that, HR will get in touch if you're selected.

First, they'll look at your resume to see if you match the basic requirements. Then, there's usually an initial chat, maybe a phone call or video call, with a recruiter or someone from the hiring team. They'll want to know about your background, skills, experience, and why you're interested in the job and company. After that, you'll have technical interviews, usually with engineers or tech leads. These can be multiple rounds, including coding challenges where you solve problems on platforms like CoderPad or HackerRank. They're checking how well you code, if it's efficient, and if you know your data structures and algorithms.
- Can you tell me about your experience with data structures and algorithms?
- What experience do you have with SQL queries?
- Could you describe your prior experience on projects?
Software Engineer
Worst experience. The interviewer was very arrogant, and I'd suggest skipping this company as it's not worth it. The interviewer acted like they owned the company and we were applying for a watchman job. When I asked the interviewer to talk properly, they said if I had a problem, I could leave the room, so I just walked off. I suggest it's not worth wasting your day.
- For someone with 7-9 years of experience, how many design patterns are there?
