Scrum Master
I applied through LinkedIn and the company's website. They sent me tests for cognitive ability and personality, which I passed. After waiting without hearing back, I reached out to HR on LinkedIn, and they then proceeded with my application. The first step was an HR call, followed by a technical interview with two people who kept their cameras off. It felt like talking to robots, and their reactions to my answers were unclear. When I asked for feedback, they said HR would provide it. Later, HR informed me I wasn't selected due to unsatisfactory answers. It would be great if they could offer more transparency and feedback for improvement.
- How do you handle conflict situations?
Scrum Master
Cognitive apptitude test for initial screening, followed by technical interview, managerial interview, and HR. Cognitive test was online and had mock tests for preparation. Other rounds were via Teams video calls due to lockdown.
- Mostly situation-based questions were posed.
Scrum Master
It was a F2F interview. There were two interviewers, one seemed technical and the other, a lady, I assume was from a scrum background. Surprisingly, she didn't seem very knowledgeable about Scrum. The questions she asked and her answers after mine were incorrect. I did point out that her understanding wasn't aligned with Scrum and explained the correct approach. After about an hour, they told me to leave for the day.
- How do you determine your team's velocity using the Definition of Done?
