Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OMP.
Associate Consultant
The interview went pretty well. Started with an online assessment, then had three face-to-face interviews. The first was technical, the second focused on Supply Chain, and the last was an HR round. It was a good experience overall; the questions were moderately difficult and logical, and the interviewers were friendly.
- Could you implement a function to calculate the factorial of a number?
- How would you find all prime numbers within a given range, say from 1 to N?
- There were also questions testing general aptitude and critical thinking skills.
Advisory Manager
The interview process started with an initial HR round covering typical HR screening and questions. This was followed by a second round with a member of the advisory team. This round focused on more in-depth technical questions and also assessed managing skills. During this second round, the interviewer seemed disengaged from the start, providing brief responses to any questions posed.
- What makes you interested in this role?
- Could you describe your approach to managing team members?
- How do you ensure alignment between operational planning and S&OP?
Consultor
I had an online test (in English) covering Supply Chain, programming, and operations research, then I interviewed with the director of the Brazil office, and finally with the vice president. The interviews focused on questions about past projects.
- Regarding this specific project, how did you tackle the issue? What was your chosen approach and methodology?
