It was a 1st phone screening. The questions were mostly based on my resume and asked about my backgrounds and coursework. The discussion was nice and the interviewer was patient and super good. No coding questions so far.

Technical Behavioral

The interview process consisted of two main parts. Initially, I had a technical discussion, followed by a session with HR. The technical questions were fairly straightforward for me, and I believe anyone with relevant experience would find them manageable. The HR conversation, however, was extensive and challenging for me. They focused on assessing my psychological attributes, teamwork capabilities, and mentoring skills. Unfortunately, my performance in the latter area did not impress HR, and they decided not to proceed further with my candidacy. I suspect my mindset and perhaps being too candid played a role. I'll definitely learn from this experience.

I had a phone interview first, and then a few days later, I got invited for an on-site interview where I met with 6 people. Everyone was really friendly and the interview went smoothly. It wasn't too difficult, and they extended an offer the very next day.
