Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Omnicom Media Group.
Data Scientist
So, the interview process had about 4 rounds in total. Some of the questions were pretty challenging, like medium to hard difficulty. They also included a take-home assignment, which was like a test round. After submitting that, I had my third round.
- Can you discuss your past projects?
- Do you have any questions related to machine learning?
Data Scientist
First, I talked to a recruiter from a third-party agency for an initial screening. After that, I didn't get any updates. Apparently, Omnicom was looking for someone with at least 10 years of experience and a background in media, but they had a hard time finding that person.
- Could you describe a predictive model you've previously constructed?
Data Science Manager
I went through a few stages. First, a screening call with the recruiter. Then, a live coding assessment that lasted about 1 hour and 30 minutes, involving SQL and Python. Finally, a team interview where we discussed my resume and past experiences.
- Can you tell me about your experience with A/B testing?
