Omni Hotels Retail Associate Interview Questions
& Process

I sat down with the manager and we talked about general serving stuff. They asked about my experience and what I should expect. We also chatted about my availability for lunch and dinner shifts. It was a pretty standard interview.

I'm preparing for my upcoming interview and have researched Omni, watched some videos, and looked into career opportunities. I spent two days prepping, exploring alternative routes and different ways to commute. I also checked out their many other locations and reviews.

I submitted an online application late one night. The next morning around 10 am, HR called and conducted a full interview as that time was convenient. My second interview was with the former chef. He was professional and passionate, vividly describing the property and the rural nature of Hot Springs. He directly addressed my frequent job changes. I was upfront about my career path, explaining my shortcomings or the company's issues in each role. I then expressed my desire for mentorship, as I felt I hadn't received proper training in my long career, only being expected to 'sling hash.' He acknowledged my concerns but was pleased with my enthusiasm for professional growth. A background check was completed within a week. The following week, I drove 14 hours for paperwork, and two weeks later, I moved.
