I applied and then got an email and then a call from the recruiter. Then I had a 20-minute phone screen. After that, she said she'd schedule an in-person interview with two other people. I had my in-person interview with the manager and HR. The HR person mentioned that if I moved forward, they would do a background check and need references, and that they couldn't hire me without them. She asked for phone numbers for all the companies I'd worked for. After the interview, I emailed her the phone numbers. I'm assuming she got them since she didn't say anything, even though I didn't get a confirmation. She also said they had just started the search and I was the first person they interviewed. About a week later, I got the rejection letter.

The interview process involved a phone screen, a video interview, and an in-person skills test. For the skills test, I had to create a flyer, write a company-wide email, and come up with ideas for a company event for interns. The Director really stressed how the role is "fast paced" and "high pressure," and it's clear they have high expectations. It's a bit disappointing that a role with such a long and involved interview process, and that's supposedly so "fast paced," only pays $20/hour.

I found this job on LinkedIn and they reached out via email for an interview. I went to the Omni Hotel and saw about ten other people there. They called us in one at a time. My interview was with a very friendly woman and lasted about 30 minutes, where she asked me about my background and experience. They said they'd let me know if I got the job.
